Roll Sizing

I was trying to figure out how to get that crappy Glock bulge out of a pile of .40 I had and came across a roll-sizing machine called the Case Pro 100 ... I tried contacting them, but from what I understand they don't really make this machine much anymore ... hopefully they will reply, but I'm not holding my breath ...

I did a bunch of net searches and found some forums where they were talking about it and apparently this machine is awesome ... anyone have any experience with roll sizing using this machine (or something similar) ??

Just go and buy either the Lee Bulge Buster, or the Lyman Brass Rx. It completely removes the bulges in the brass and is simple to use. I got the Lee one and have run all my 45ACP, .40 S/W, and 10mm brass through it. Works like a charm.

+1, will definitely cost a LOT less than a roll sizing machine. Unless you are talking about commercial reloading volumes, roll sizing just isn't worth the price, be cheaper to buy non-glock brass or an aftermarket barrel.
 
Ok, lets get one thing straight here ... I DO NOT own a Glock :puke: LOL

As for the cost, yes I understand that they are a bit pricey (about $1000 with the 3 dies I would need) but I wasn't really concerned about the price.

In regards to the bulge buster, I have one on order right now, hopefully it's here next week ...

Still wondering if anyone has one of these machines .....
 
I suggest trying the undersize sizing die sold by EGW. It may save you having to resort to an extra step with a push-through die like the bulge buster.

Compared to my Dillon sizing die, it sizes both further down the case body and to a smaller diameter. It seems to have cured the nosedives I was getting with my FN Hi Power.

I made something similar to the bulge buster, and used it with a Lee FCD in my single-stage.

Then, one day I selected 100 glocked .40 cases, and just ran them through my Hornady LNL, using Hornady pistol dies. I then fired every single round trouble-free in my XDM-40.

I no longer give 'special treatment' to glocked brass. ;)
