PARA problem FIXED ( UPDATE 19th MAY !!! )

Is that some kind of coating that's chipped on the corner of that dust cover? Looks like someone dropped the frame and chipped it.

Looks good otherwise. I wouldn't fuss about that bit of a chip or the bent serial number if it functioned reliably. Still, when you pay over a grand for anything it should come to you without looking like a seconds. Bust their balls for a discount and see what you get out of it.

BTW ... I'm not sure about those wrap arounds. You seem to be used to the double stack of your previous abomination and having a hard time getting used to a slimmer grip, but it will grow on you. Don't think they belong either. They might also impede your draw from a holster if you practice with such. Find yourself some checkered panels. Maybe some Ahrends African Blackwood grips. I have a set and aside from descent comfort, they are nice on a stainless gun.

That is absolutely ridiculous. It looks to be engraved by a 4 year old; and the serial numbers look like they were manually stamped into the frame by a guy with 2 lazy eyes.

Totally not acceptable. At all.

Bit of a necro post but didn't feel like starting a new thread.

Shot about 300 rounds through my TF 1-08 pistol, haven't had any problems. Finish and metal work a great though 1 out of four mags doesn't completely eject out of the pistol grip (ejects about a inch before I have to pull it out).

Other than that mag problem though, it seems to run like a dream. It does have a "made in Canada" tag on it though, so maybe that's all the difference?

What's been the round count until people usually start experiencing problems with their guns? Or have they simply mostly been problematic right out of the box?

I sold the SS para at a huge lost and got a Sig 1911...

Para fcuked me out of almost 500$ and there is nothing I can do about it....

Ha well live and learn I guess
