Way to go guys, wish I had a setup for this type of match right now. I hope this gets more and more popular, I really want to try it.

My time in the butts so far has been kick ass Hungry, and I haven't been screamed at yet :p

Then you have no idea what the DM match was like :)

Don't worry, Hungry had a lot of love in his voice when he screamed at us.

Lol...I just got a roughly put together 16" rifle that would work great, when the next one?

With over half a dozen SR and another half a dozen CQB matches this season, Timk and I are using up 3 to 4 weekends a month (Especially in May and June). Our schedule is the most extensive SR programme across the country (just have a look at all the other PRA's) and right now I'm feeling it...

My voice is just getting back today. Had to teach and my voice / throat needed a couple of Advil GelCaps and I'm back in the game. I was joking with my kids :D that I really was most happy to see them. They really were shocked to here that :)

Timk debriefed the group of shooters re: any future DM matches. It's hard to run them inside our existing SR and SR CQB schedules (along with the Langemark Range Plinking days) for this season. Next season ? It looks just as busy.

Lots and lots of learning for the shooters, match staff, and of course, all that target prep. Speaking of target prep, many of you saw the number of handheld targets that had to be prepared (scoring values, V bull circles, moving targets) and you can appreciate just how much work goes into the (I have to proudly admit) most extensive SR programme around; like mentioned before, my brain is starting to go blank sometimes.

All that discussion aside, I really have to be thankful for the number of shooters who helped me down in the butts for the setup and teardown.. Lots and lots of work involved, but all of you will agree, it's worth all the grief. Thanks for pitching in and carrying out all of my finger-pointed orders. Trust me, I'm most grateful for all your energy! I needed it! :ninja:

Those of you who could not make it, bummer! Maybe next year. I'm currently tweaking my butts sheets for the next DM match! I'll be ready now!

Cheers,
Barney

I'm really sad that I had to miss this. My new position at work is keeping me from having as much fun on the weekends as I would like. What's the point in getting a raise...?

Anyway, sounds like a great event.

It also sounds like Barney and TimK need another set of hands and lungs. Do you guys have any plans to enlist some help? I know that our club runs a great schedule, but this is mostly contingent upon 2 guys giving up much of their spare time.
