3 Gun Shoot Prince Albert June 11

We will be holding a 3 Gun Shoot at the PAPRC Range west of PA on Saturday June 11th. The shoot starts at 9:30 am. PM me if you need more details...

i recently went to a 3 gun in Saskatoon and had a lot of fun.

I was very excited to hear about one in P.A until I heard i needed to have a 1911 in .45 and a rifle in .45 also.

Correct me if i'm wrong-i seen a sign about this at Wholesale sports in Saskatoon the other day.

It seems like it will be hard to find people around here with 3 guns of this exact specification who wish to compete and have prior IPSC/IDPA experience as specified.

At the 3 gun in Saskatoon we had people with pistols of all IPSC calibers(mostly 9mm) and for the rifle stage many had fancy AR's with scopes and bipods(mostly .223) but others showed up with lever guns and open sighted SKS.

I went to the three gun last year. It was a lot of fun and relaxed. Hopefully go again.

There is a Wildbunch match on June 12th in PA the day after the 3 gun. Wildbunch uses a 1911 in 45 and rifle of over 40 caliber along with a 1897 shotgun. Perhaps that's the poster you seen.

I use to cowboy shoot. I already had a Rugerblackhawk 6 shooter and an old cooey single shot shotgun,..just needed to find an old period lever rifle.Ended up paying 300 for a 30-30 that was worth $200 because there was nothing to be found at that time. They were in demand and short supply,..everyone was using it for the same thing. It was fun.:) BUT...now if I want to do this TRI-gun shoot, I need 3 new guns...All in the same calibur :eek: I simply cant afford that. I would like to see a SHOOT WHAT YA BRUNG event, and I'll bet you a TON of other people would like this to. And why not????Answere me that. This gun shoot comming up seems a little selective.:(

The last one I was at was run what you brung. The guys had AR-15s, Lever actions, PS90, CZ858. Handguns were 2 M&P9 and 2 1911s. Shotguns were 870s and a m4. It was one put on by kf123.
 
The 3 gun shoots in Prince Albert are a "run what you brung":p event. I know kf123, and he really tries to encourage people to come out to these events. I can't imagine it being firearm specific, not for a minute.
 
I've been planning on coming up for the "Wild Bunch" match for about 3 or so weeks now. If you had announced this match a few weeks ago, I could have arranged my schedule so I could have attended both. BUMMER!
