Abbotsford IPSC Club Match June 11th

Nice the rain held off while building the walls. We are planning seven stages, two stages on the indoor range and five outdoors, 180 rounds. Registration is on match day starting at 8:00 AM and the shooting starts at 9:00 sharp. :dancingbanana:

we will also be doing an IPSC demo during the Abby Open house in July. If you can come and shoot and run BRAND NEW shooters through a COF safely, please let me know.

Unfortunately I can't make it Wednesday.
I will make it both Friday and Saturday.

Hi back,

If you can make it to help us setup and/or during the match - that will be greatly appreciated!!

Here is the place: http://www.abbotsfordfishandgameclub.org
we are gonna setup for the match the night before starting at 5pm, but if you come later - that is gonna help anyway.

TIA,
cz

$25 for everyone. Club member or not. Reg starts at 8am closes at 8:45ish. No pre reg unless you come to the setup.
We need to borrow a few timers as well.

reg starts at 8am on Saturday morning, there won't be a lunch or anything as we have no preregistration and honestly have no idea how many people to expect. This is a Level 1 and our first kick at the can. There are a ton of restaurants just down the street, so food is close by. I don't expect to see us go past 3pm (unless we get a ton of people and we are overwhelmed.......)
More should be up at the IPSCBC site soon.

Also huge thanks to PMJ for coming out on Wednesday night to help build walls. He's not an IPSC shooter, he's not a member at Abby, but he's a helluva guy. He's helped out for years now at the Sniper match, which he also doesn't shoot. Wish there was more people like him around! (especially since he runs a mean skillsaw!)

To add to Slavex's post, a reminder we will be setting up the stages the evening before the match (Friday) starting at 5:00 PM. If you can make it at that time or later, the help would be greatly appreciated.
:)

Good day all.
I live in Mission and am interested in getting into this sport. Are spectators welcome to this event?
If so, where is it being held, what's admission, and what time is a good time to show?
Thanks in advance. :)

Thanks very much for getting back to me. I have to be in Abby already for the quilt show (don't ask), so I'll try to sneak over there with the little lady. :)

Is there any public viewing allowed for these kind of events? I'm looking to upgrade my PAL for restricted and am really interested in getting into IDPA and IPSC, so I'd like to come watch since I live in Abby.

EDIT:

Spectators are always welcome. Bring ear and eye protection. This event is at the Abbotsford fish and game club www.Abbotsfordfishandgameclub.com match starts at 9am.

Guess I should have read through all the pages first lol.

I've got mine set to 100 post a page.

Pats, not sure if Hungrybeagle is going to make it, are you coming? Eugene could probably use some help with learning the scoring and such.

at this time I'm coming, but that could change, I can help show the scoring, I'm not great but, I'm getting a hang of it. just make sure that hes got the database downloaded to winmss from hungrybeagle.

that is a must or we will spend the day entering names

abby match

Hey Fang...I'm the same as "pats" with stats....have worked stats several matches but always had the winmss up with competitors list ready for me....I can enter scores and do verifications to make sure all stages have been entered, anything else and I would need help...have to work til midnight Friday but plan on making it, if so I can RO and also bring a timer

I can set up the match in the program thats no problem, but its nice to have it entered before hand so you can just enter the competitors while registration is going on. i belive that you cant do competitors till you have the match entered, so it just saves time.

Please be sure that there is a number pad with the computer,
