Anyone in the Brantford, Hamilton, Simcoe or Woodstock area, where do you get your powders from. I swear no gun stores around here carry squat for powders, getting very frustrating:mad:

If you haven't already, you could try Goble's in London or Tillsonburg, Ontario Gun, near Kirkton, or Eli's in Delhi. Failing that, one of the best powder sources I know and have used for many years, is Higginson Powders, in Hawkesbury. Ordering is easy via their website. Very good people to deal with and excellent powder prices.

Hummason in Ancaster.

Call 24hr in advance so they will bring it out of their storage..

Never thought of them, I get my cast rounds from them.

Never been to Goble's and Eli's never seems to have what I want and if they do its expensive. Will look into the others, thanks

You have the canadian distributor of GOEX in St. Catherines. He has a full stock of Hodgson, Reloader, IMR and other brands. Look on the GOEX site for his contact information.

Be warned, he has a strange sense of humour and is a little out there. But you won't get better pricing anywhere. And he is very fair to work with.

I buy from Hummason's and Lawry.

Lawry Shooting Sports is about 10 Minutes past Hummason's.
Lawry carries IMR, Hodgdon, and Alliant powder.
Once you have ordered from Lawry once, you can just shoot them an email with what you want and they will have packed up ready to go. Powder is supposed to be ordered 24 hours before pickup.

+1. Have had nothing but good experience dealing with Higginsons.

Hummason's and Lawry's are the best two hands down. If you buy more than one pound, you'll save more than what you burned in gas to get there. The prices are unbeatable. Al Simmon's in Hamilton has the best prices for powder for a gunshop in that area.

Lawry's x2

Cheapest place to buy powder and primers..They require a 1 day notice for powder orders so they can get it from their powder bunker. Only downside is they only carry pistol primers and Alliant powder, but heck for $17.95 a LB who cares.
