Guys

I'm seriously looking at one of these for this hunting season and am particularly interested in the WMR version based on the fact that it may spend a lot of time in my truck as a GP rifle for stuff up to fox/racoon in size, as well as riding on the ATV. I am leaning toward a fixed RF4x Leupold for the rifle. My last WMR was a Ruger 77/22 that I was never fully satisfied with as far as accuracy goes, though it was "acceptable".

I always had in the back of my mind the walnut on the Ruger when it came to bashing through the woods, as well as some issues with length. The synthetic stock onthe 305F takes that worry away as does the 13" barrel, and I'd not be so reluctant to hit it up with the rattle can of Brownell's Moly-Teflon bake on Gun Kote...

What kind of things are folks seeing as far as pros and cons with the 305F???

thanks

Gotcha. Well, I have the .22LR version and I can tell you that I absolutely love it. The only con in my eyes is that the receiver isn't grooved for scope rings. You have to buy bases if you want to mount a scope.

Everything else about it is great. I don't even mind the trigger. It's not great, but it works just fine.

Get one, I highly doubt that you'll regret it.
