How about a separate "Muzzleloading" forum, in the Firearms and Optics section?

How about a separate "Muzzleloading" forum, in the Firearms and Optics section?

There seems to be no clear place to discuss muzzleloading. Some threads are included in the "Black Powder and Antiques", and some are in this section. The whole topic gets lost in the shuffle. How about adding a separate forum? I would like your opinions, and if enough of us are in favour, maybe the Forum admin. will grant us our wish.

Maybe I am not entering the right keywords, but I did use the search function in both this and the "Blackpowder and Antiques" forum, and found no such topic.

My point is that modern inline muzzleloading does not use black powder any more, and is different enough from hunting with centerfire firearms to warrant its own section. There are probably more muzzleloaders than there are collectors; so, why not a dedicated section?

how true ...modern muzzeloaders [209] should have a separate section
 
I believe you answered your question by posting this topic here. There hasn't been enough interest in this thread, and it isn't discussed in the "B&A" thread so there isn't enough interest to garner the need for it's own individual place.
Not a slam on muzzle loaders or unlines, but it seems it would be under utilized.

Agreed. The topic is so diluted between this section, the B&A, Hunting and even Reloading sections, that one does not know where to look for the info, or start a thread.

Having it all together in one place would make perfect sense.
