Is the Troy MRF rail really only 4 ounces?

Just wondering as this seems really light. All other similar rails are 10 ounces and up. I don't really have a preference between the Troy, YHM or Midwest rail but if the Troy really is less than half the weight I might as well just get that one right?

btw does anyone know where I can get one now? ArmsEast is on backorder.

We will be continuing to increase our Troy inventory. :)

I can check on eta.

The lightest MFS rail I saw on the sight was 7 oz.

As far as weight goes, with the rails I stock, it goes KAC, DD, Troy, Otis as far as lightest to heaviest. Price tag goes highest to lowest ;)

Funny because when you read the description on their site it says "only adds 4 ounces of weight to your carbine" or something like that....oh I just realized that they meant over regular handguards haha!

Oh just noticed the 7" says 4oz

Same size DD Lite Rail says 10 oz.

I know out of the 7" DD rail and the Troy TRX 7" rail, that the DD is much lighter.

I'd put either on a rifle though.

Thanks Darren, yeah if you could check on ETA that would be great. Don't want to spend too much on this though so I'm pretty much settled on a Troy.
