New Chiappa M1 carbine 22?

Just came across this, did a search but didn't find anything..anyone know anything about it? Anyone going to bring it in to Canada?

They say it's made to the same specs as the M1 carbine so you should be able to find some wood for it.

Chiappa is an Italian company so Im gonna go out on a limb here and say they are made in Italy

As for the 700$ price gouge, I hope not because Im really interested in this.

Thanks for posting this.

I showed it to the wife and convinced her that this should be my birthday present. Hopefully they will show up by September. I figure they should probably sell for the price shown as the local gun shop has one of their 1911's for $325 new. I think i will be on the lookout for an M1 wood set.
