after read lots reviews on youtube, I picked the TRS-25, when I turned it on, the red dot is not like one round shape dot, its more like 3-5 small dots sitting together, the shape for the dot is totally not round, I tried all power levels I put a new battery in, still not getting a round sharp dot as shown on youtube and internet,I called bushnell today, they keep asking how far did I hold the red dot, they said if its too close you will not see a round sharp dot, is this true? they let me send it back, and I need to pay the both way shipping, I`m afraid they just gonna send it back to me and saying its totally fine. any one can give me any suggestion? thanks

Could be your eyes. Astigmatism will cause flaring.
Try it outside in natural light.....sometimes I notice it but I just ignore it and it doesn't bother me shooting.

I think most of the cheaper red dots don't have perfectly round dots. I could be wrong. My TRS-25's are not perfectly round, but I don't ask a lot of questions when I am talking a $160 sight either.

An Aimpoint would be nice ...

Sounds like "ghosting". This occurs when all the reflective lenses are not properly alighned. Let me also guess and when you turn up the power level it increases in intesity? It sounds like an warrenty issue then if this is what happens.

I hope they are now covering shipping......since they see it is a fault of their product
