Daniel defense vs Armalite

hi im looking at maybe purchasing either a Daniel defense M4 16" for $1999 or either an Armalite M4 16" for $2399. Both are brand new, is the armalite really worth the extra $400?

Christ no...the Daniel Defense is a better AR than any Armalite I have ever seen. I can't imagine what Armalite would be worth that kind of money. I would expect the prices to be reversed.

Unless Armalite has come out with a new line of rifles...even so Daniel Defense is a "tier 1" AR and is about as good as ARs get.

Daniel Defense seems to be excellent quality and its price sounds about right. The Armalite on the other hand is way overpriced. Where did you see these rifles for sale?

Bingo. Maybe more like $1600 for a brand new Armalite.

The Daniel Defense stock carbine is one of the best production rifles out there. On par with Colt and LMT. Forget the Armalite!

WTF? Who's selling Armalites for $2399? The Armalite isn't worth $400 over a DD gun, but it is worth $400 LESS.

The upper Dlask sells is Daniel Defense, even though it's not advertised as such for some reason. The description is copied and pasted from the YHM description so I assumed it was going to be a YHM upper.

Ken Hackathorn also had a favorable opinion of DD.

Still, my first choice is for a Stag Arm from Arms East. If you want to spend money LMT or Knight Armament.

Frankly I am waiting to see those NEA Canadian made ARs for $1000 come out.
