2011 CGN Saskatchewan gopher shoot. Thanks to everyone for coming!

Would anyone else like to answer the Dokta's question???

I guess we know who'll be taking care of the camp chores when he runs out of ammo.

For the two of us I'm bringing about 5000 rounds .22LR, 200 rounds .223, 600 rounds .204, and about 200 12 gauge shells. Usually I'd bring more but I don't expect Jax to be shooting too much with the baby on her hip.

i have 1400 rounds of 22 and 270 shotgun...is that not enough for 2 days:confused:

Brother!!!!....are you coming for a serious weekend of shooting or just laying around for half of it ? Those numbers might keep a REAL gunnut going for a day !!! I'm bringing at LEAST 4000 22LR's with me. I can always bring them home if i don't use them. I'm sure the local ammo store ain't so local if you know what I mean. :D

Heh, yeah, I know what you mean. Closest gun shop would be Maple Creek or Swift Current. But, you know, I would not be one bit surprised to find a co-op out there somewhere selling ammo. I know for sure the one in Cabri does. I would expect Gull Lake to have some as well. Who knows, I think even Hazlet has a co-op, if they have a few basic calibers that would only be like 10 mins away.
