Mossberg tactical

I dont have it yet just been cought up with other stuff but i would like to change some of the original dark colours to tan. Since I am not familiar with any of the names and stuff i would not even know what to call it. Picatinny............?? sorry dont know what that means. The guy that posted a pic of his Mossy was very cool somthing to that effect.

Picatinny are the rail mounts for accessories (scope, foregrip,lasers, flashlight)on the gun.
 
oooo, aaaaa, very cool that actually will help make sense of alot of posts now that i know what the picatinny rails are. thank you. and i am going to check out that website. is there a specific URL?

If anyone has pictures of their pimped out real Mossy Tacs.22 would they mind posting them?
i am trying to figure out what parts to put on the one i am getting just dont know what will fit and what they are called either?

Which muzzle break did you add-on?? looks sweet

I have no idea what make or model it is a friend gave it to me.
 
i bought one when they first rolled on the market last year, and for the money i paid i wasnt disappointed, it was accurate to all hell, fun to shoot and could mount any number of ar style accessories. my biggest grievance, and the only reason i traded it, was how damn picky it was on ammo. anything that wasnt round nose copper plated and had a small hollow point was less then useless, even immaculately cleaned and lightly lubed, she would crush and sometimes break rounds.
 
I gave up trying to get one of these, No one has them in stock and those that do want too much for them.

I have had one on back order for 2 months now with a local dealer but I am not even going to bother, I am putting the money towards a moose gun instead.

Epps has around 10 left for $245 with the 25rnd mag. Selling fast from what i've seen and epps is great to deal with.
 
YES Epps is great to deal with i have called many places and just been brushed off. Great customer service and would reccomend to anyone. and they still have a couple in stock but they are selling quick.

Tried it, shot it & could not stand it. The Mossberg is VERY disappointing. Would not recommend it unless the only option was that firearm or no firearm at all: IMHO it's better than nothing but not by much.

Hey Boomer,

What was it that you did not like about the firearm? the drawbacks and specifically what you did not like? what would you reccomend?
 
I absolutly love mine. It is true about that the gun doesn't seem to like large hollow points, but shoots the round nose Federal 525s perfect. I tossed a reddot and FabDefence tactical bipod foregrip on mine. It was cheap to buy, great to shoot, a real eye catcher. Only complaint is its a beeoacth to dismantle to clean.
 
just bough mine should be in next week i have mixed feelings about this transaction but overall very happy about the purchase
