just got an email from Matt ..IWD
The time has finally arrived for all of you VZ guys. I appreciate your patience, (especially to all of
the Canadians), and interest in our VZ project. I would have liked to have had thee parts done sooner,
but demand for our existing std. AK stocks dominated our schedule over the last couple of months.
Regardless, we are done, and have created a super accurate reproduction set that I am sure you will approve of.
Please refer to the link posted below. This will get you right to our VZ page on our site. There is also a link
on the front page of our site, and in our product categories section, under the milled AK set heading.
Not all of the VZ links are active on the site, so if you find an in active one, simply go to the Home page,
and click either of those.
I am never really sure of true demand, ( how many people will actual purchase, compared to how many inquired),
so we are prepped to build about a dozen sets initially, so we do not overcommit materials and machine time.
Typically less that 30% of inquiries actually purchase after we release a new product. If demand is high, no worries,
we will do a longer run and make sure that there are plenty of sets to go a round.
Anyway, please go to the site link as posted above to get all of the details, ( pricing, part#s etc.), including
a couple of no cost options.
Thanks again for everybody's enthusiasm and patience. I know it took a little longer than originally anticipated,
but the results are really impressive.
Oh, another note for Canadian customers. I heard that there is some sort of Canadian Mail strike going on.
Can someone please enlighten me, as I heard that US post cannot currently go through. As US mail lis the
least expensive method to ship north, we either need to wit for the strike to end, or to use another carries, which might
end up costing more for shipping. Also, need to make sure that shipping theses stock sets will not have any
customs issues. We have shipped to Canada in the past with no issues, but the shipments were not that plentiful.
Being that there is potential for numerous stock sets traveling north, just want to make sure that the sets do not get
held up in Customs, or that we raise any unneeded attention. I know it is just wood, but the silly gun laws work in
stupid ways.
Thanks,
Matt
