Glock as a company does not allow there new guns to be exported with aftermarket bbls.
The guns SFRC are selling are new unaltered guns.

Not prohib just with igb barrel they are sold out there as well so some dealers do have them. I think they import them as a prohib then change the barrel to change it after...

If they imported them as prohib then changed the bbl, when the rcmp finds out they will be off to jail.
As that would be like me buying an M16 then changing out the parts and calling it an AR15.
Those guns don't come from Glock. I asked them when I placed my initial order and they told me Glock is trying to put an end to that practice. The guns no longer have a warranty once the barrels are changed....atleast thats what Glock told me.

I don't think so badboybeeson. I am not sure exactly how, but I do believe that with a dealers license they CAN import a prohib, replace the barrel and have the firearm status reassessed/approved as non-restricted, providing of course the original barrel is not supplied in the sale. I know of a few businesses that were doing this in the past, not sure what it entails, but there is no reason they cannot have the firearm reclassified with correct changes. Otherwise, tell me how I came in to possession of a non-restricted G19 from questar? I'd have to verify with Mark, but I am pretty sure that is the process considering I had two options to select from for a canadian length barrel. That said I have heard as Ryan reports from multiple sources, Glock does not want this to continue.
UPDATE - I was contacted by someone in the know and corrected. BBB, sounds like they are NOT allowed import without end user cert (ie; LEO/Mil) or something to that effect, so they are likely brought in to Canada with the barrel already installed (imported as restricted).

The issue is that some people like to push the law, the problem is that the end user end up with out a firearm and the dealer go to jail, al lthat over making a few $$.
In the past some unnamed dealers that sell prohibs to non "civies" were bringoign them into canada as prohibs then changing them over to restricted.
Their is no new imports of prohibs for any readon for "civies" sales.
Now case in point , CRAFM took in a bunch of prohib G19, that were sold to an armoued car company, changed them into restricted and sold them.
They are good to go, on that deal as the guns were all ready in canada and were being changed over to comply with selling them as restricted.
The guns mag have entered canada as prohibs, just like the gray market ones stated above. But! The "intent" was not to import prohibs to make them into restricted.
The ### is big on intent.
BBB is absolutely correct... you can't import a Prohibited handgun into Canada (except specifically for a government/police/military purchase order) and once in Canada those guns HAVE TO GO to that end-user and can't be sold commercially instead.
When we import compact and sub-compact handguns we do so with the 106mm Canadian barrels already installed (prior to importation) so the guns are imported and registered as "Restricted" handguns.
It is also possible (for a Business, not sure if an individual can do it) to import the handgun without the barrel (as a frame only) and then to install the 106mm Canadian length barrel after the gun arrives. The short barrels are Prohibited Devices and they can't enter Canada for commercial sale guns... but the guns without barrels are classified by CFC as "frame only" and have no barrel length at all. The barrels are then mated to the gun upon entry and the gun and barrel is then "registered" with CFC. RCMP and CFC have allowed this (in the past anyway). They even changed the classification on certain handguns (the frame only FRT #), to "Restricted" instead of the old "Prohibited" to acknowledge this was allowed... this happend with a number of the SIG 229 and 239 series guns ("frame only" now listed as Restricted).
