If you like the P345, you'll probably like the 9mm SR9...

45ACP is very managable, but a bit pricier than 9mm.

Are these available in Canada?
Someone said the barrels were too short to be imported?

they dont have one in and it would be a month to get it in.
i asked why it wasent on there site he dint know.

how do the grips feel in the hand?

Thanks again for all the advice. I agree I should look at a 9mm first and get the hang of things. I put a call into williams arms on the baby eagle in 9mm so waiting to hear back on price etc. Anywhere else you guys suggest I should price check with??? I am looking at the polished chrome version or the brushed chrome just cant decide on which one.

Baby Eagle's are $819.95 at Wholesale Sports. :D

Yes. Frontier has them.

Not yet... I've already contacted them.
With the trigger issue they had (Ruger SR9), they're probably re-stocking U.S. dealers first.
Personally, I like the black on green version.

I'm not sure why they had this one in, I've tried for years to see new Ruger centre fire pistols there, but they never stock them (or the 22/45 series). They don't like them, so I guess they figure nobody else likes them.
My buddy happened to see it on the shelf, held it, and the rest is history.

I'm anxious to try it out. I'd also like to try a S&W M&P45.

The P345 is a very nice looking gun and while back a member posted a target and he got a decent group out of the P345, that said the gun is accurate enough for anybody. If Ruger able to fix out all the SR-9 problem, I think it should be a nice gun to boot for under $500.

I picked up two extra mags. I like 3 for the range, but really don't *need* them. I just had to make it worth while to ship a $2.50 part.

P345 is a great little gun

I got one in January and have put about a thousand rounds through it. The ammo is pricey but I have been using the Winchester and the Blazers. About 55 cents around plus tax.
Extra magazines are hard to find. If anyone knows where to find them, I'd like to hear.

Location Snapshots is who I dealt with. They at least were the Ruger Distributer in Canada for parts etc. (450) 427-0052 last time I called. I just did a quick google, but didn't turn anything up. Their price for mags was the best I'd found at the time, I think around $27, IIRC. If Location Snapshots isn't around any more, call Ruger in Prescott and they'll tell you who to contact for CAD parts.
