There seems to have been some interst in Lugers lately, so I decided to post this.

Both the 1937 and 1938 dated S/42 Luger rigs each have two matching magazines.

No,

I won't shoot these pistols.
The Germans with their serial numbering on many parts make shooting certain collector grade guns "somewhat" dangerous in case of part breakage.
I believe there are some guns you shoot and some you don't.

In my opinion you do not shoot a collectable firearm where the value is seriously affected if a critical part can be damaged.

When I want to shoot a German pistol this is my choice.
It is inexpensive to shoot and I am not worried about breaking a critical part.
This little Walther PPK/S is a delightful pistol.

I also have some WWII German pistols that I would shoot.
NOT a Luger with two matching magazines.

I would be less concerned about shooting the German 9mm WWII Browning Hi-Power and cyq P.38 shown below.

drm3m, you are just plain evil, where do you live again ? :D

Seriously though, it looks like the soldiers just handed you their pistols, holsters, and belts and retired from service. Simply beautiful.
