I just finished my IDPA NSO and I found out my SP-01 Shadow is too heavy to be used for IDPA/ODPL (probably common knowledge to most, but I'm a newbie). I don't like the lack of decocker anyway, so I'm not all that heart broken about it. Could I use my USP 40 instead in the SSP class?

I run a USP .40 and a G22 in IDPA. A lot of the recoil issue is perceived and not actual.

Mr David may tel you that it is the answer to no real problem but I get the brass cheaper than any other round so I can practice more. ;-)

My ODPL guns of choice are my 4" k-frame and my M&P40. Don't forget if you shoot a .40 in ssp your .40 loads only have to make a 125PF so you can load em lighter.

I did not even insinuate that, although I would agree. :D

If you show up at my ODPL match with a SP01 I will most certainly allow it.

Just my opinion, but me thinks some games get a little too nit picky on gear.
