10/22 Mags.

You get what you pay for. I got the cheap plastic 30 rounder by some U.S. company and it works allright but is filthy now and I am waiting for the plastic feed lips to break. Also I found a Butler creek mag loader and it does not work well with the cheap mag. I recently bought 2 Butler Creek steel lip 25 rounders and they work great with the loader and flawlessly with the rifle. Also the 10 round rotary mags from ruger are excellent.

Ruger 10/22 Mags

I have two TI very well made, completely adjustable and they are great but not cheap.

Added 19 Aug. BUT they are a b***h to adjust, I still have not got them working right. First round, if it chambers, OK but 2nd round hangs up and does not chamber. I have tried5 different makes, and dummies too. Help Please.

You can't currently purchase the BX-25 mags in Canada, though Wolverine has mentioned that they are trying to bring them in.

Here's crossing my fingers!

I have a few of the Butler Creek steel lips. They feed with no problems when hand loaded. I've had a few dented cases when using the BC mag loader and that causes feeding problems.
Personally I find they get in the way of properly gripping the rifle (unless you're shooting with a bipod) and I prefer the factory 10 round mags.

We have a preorder list going when the marauder mags are finally released, they can be disassemled & feed lips changed, they look better & have a controlled feed spring.

They just look better as well. Heres one on the Archangel tan, top pic.

I have a couple TI 25s, manufactured before the addition of the adjusting screws, they work perfectly in our three 10/22s and former 96/22. Also have a couple BC steel lips and ½ dozen Ruger magazines, the bulk loader is a must, thanks to Freeman for his bulk CGN purchase many years ago. With the expenditure of 160 rounds, the barrel is too hot to touch. The grandkids love the Tapco stocked 10/22 because of its army gun look and a brick of ammo is eaten up quickly, a well spent $20.00.
