Cash shoot

The Beaver Hill Cash shoot in Tolfield is this saturday June 25/2011. There are 200 registered bird, it says pre-registration is required, you can phone780-886-3454

Wish I could, have to be in Calgary for a meeting. I know a few from my club are headed to it.

Well it was a real tough day with many challenging target.I did get 127 out of 200 to finish 3rd in A class and win 200.00. Now if I could hit R to L targets with any consistancy I 'd finished a heck of a lot better. There were R to L targets where I went 0-8 and 1-8 and 1-8 then r-l where I was 8-8 several times during the shoot. Rabbits were Hell today as well, guess I just need some more practice or a sports Psyche. FS

Challenging is putting it mildly! The long crossers were a b^gger but Derryl did warn us that we'd need to change chokes (which I didn't). A couple of new stands and different configurations for existing stands made for a very enjoyable shoot, well done Derryl.

I was very pleasantly surprised to win some cash for coming second in Hunter class too
