Csa compacts pics!!!!!

These seem like cool little rifles... I just wish their status would be different so that they can be actually carried around as a backup rifle on a hunting trip or for bear defense while hiking.

:(

Seriously, why isn't this thread 10 pages long yet? Ive been waiting for the compact for what seems like sooooo long. Any dealers have an idea of when they will be available? The 7.62 is pretty much the perfect CQB.

So much want!!!

I likely wont have my RPAL by the time these do the first round, is it likely that businesses will keep stocking them, or will there be a massive shortage like with so many other ones. Like seriously... i want my first handgun, but I dont know what to buy first, this or a cz 75.

"standard" capacity magazines.

Plain old, ordinary, run of the mill 30 rounders.

x2. That is right, we need to keep our terminology correct. 30 round mags are normal capacity mags. In canada, we are legislated to use abnormal capacity magazines that hold no more than five rounds. That is because the gestapo and the gun grabbing community has no appreciation for the heritage and history of the firearms, etc. that we appreciate.

I love how the upper handguard is just the one piece of hardware

How much are these going to be again? $899?? Mmmmmmm

That compact is going to have very bad ballistics that barrel is way to short for the 7.62x39 round i guessing there will be bullet stabilization keyholeing issues too(like the Draco AK pistol in the US) ...any shorter and a pistol round will perform better..

Unsure about the keyholeing, hopefully not. But, you are correct... I consider this a pistol, however it will have extra "ooomph" for sure outperforming any pistol (non-magnum anyway).

Accuracy at 100m will be minute-of-paper-target I'm sure :D

But the one thing that these rifles has always impressed me with is the weight. I could 1-hand the rifle. This things is going to be feather-weight.
