XCR Rifle

I wouldn't buy anything from his just based on this ad:

Czech 7.62x39 cases of surplus ammo. Bullet is FMJ. Comes in an ammo crate, 1200 rounds, fur 300 round battle packs. Shoot this ammo in your SKS and CZ-858. Shipping will be a fixed $29.99. YES, AMMO PRICES ARE GOING UP!

What a douche. Ya prices are going up, but only on your ammo.

that was pretty uncalled for, cause if you bother to look at any ammp prices, they are going up a little.. so I think you just fit right in to the "ignorant,I know everything" catagory. On the bright side you are deff not alone there :HR:

Have to jump in here, today at the range not many peoples i was shooting my TC Icon Warlord and my Benelli mr-1.. 4 peoples at the range 20 feet from me one guy Paul is shooting a rifle 223 caliber the black box AE in a tin can so i ask him if i could pick up is empty shells no problem he say, so we go on our business, that guy"s rifle was jamming minimun every 10 shot and he was swearing, after a will we talk he ask about my MR-1 is rifle was a Robinson 223 so he shot mine i shot his very accurate rifle but no more then my mr-1, i gave him some of my reloads to see if it would jam less, nop the dam thing would jam like hell, i felt sorry for Paul, i feel very lucky over 2800 shots on my MR-1 and not one malfuction... I suggest to him to contact his dealer a big gun store in Montreal and have his rifle look at, hopefully he will do it... JP.

Your 'friend' either is breaking in his rifle and has it set on the wrong gas setting, or he needs to clean it and re-lube it. Break in should be done on gas setting 4.

Is it possible it was just a faulty mag problem? The C-Prod mags some guys ended up with are garbage.

This is definitely a possibility. Even more so if the rifle is being shot with a 5/30 C-Products that is resting on the bench while shooting. Something about the pressure makes the C-prods not feed reliably.

"Break in" should be done at the factory prior to the rest of the QA steps.

Who does this?

Sig-Sauer recommends 600 rounds to break in their handguns.
Bushmaster recommends 200 rounds.
Olympic Arms recommends a 200-500 round break in period.
Springfield Arms recommends 250
Ruger recommends 150.

I can't think of a single firearms company that 'breaks in' firearms at the factory.

C-products mags are rifle finicky. One Ar I have cycles great with them, one does not!?* Go figure.
