.357 Magnum Lever Action Rifle?

Well I guess if price is no issue then you have to decide if you prefer a pistol grip or a straight grip for starters....also crescent vs flat butt. Then octagon vs round barrel......

I kind of like that takedown with the pistolgrip but I'd prefer a straight butt with a rubber pad.


Looks like the trapper takedown is only made in .357mag which may make the choice easier.
 
I got one of these Winchester 1892 Shorts on the way in .357. Had to get if from the US and have it imported as I couldn't find one in Canada. I handled another model of the newer Japanese ones and it was fantastic.

Next I think I want a Uberti 1873.

Thanks, I'm sure I will enjoy it. Now with the Highway opened up again .. I may have a chance at seeing it this week !!

Part of my addiction (and maybe a thread to start with picts.....) is to have a "big and little" in a particular firearm. A big stainless S&W Revolver (the 500), and a little one (.22), a Cooey .410 and a Cooey 12G, Remmington Wingmaster .410 and a Remmington Wingmaster 12G, a couple old Parker Hale rifles, a carbine chambered in .243 and one witha a long barrel chambered in .308 Norma Mag, the Henry's now, etc. The pairs of "Big and Little" would make a neat bunch of pictures.
 
I was out to the range yesterday with both Henry rifles (.22 and .357), must say ... I LOVE the way they shoot. Loading via the tube instead of a gate is soooo much easier.
