Please welcome another RFB owner .. :)

Just got mine today..what a great gun. Thanks LanzShootingSupplies!!!!!
So far i put a set of folding irons on, and now debating about optics.. i plan to use it for deer hunting, so i would guess 200-300m range tops... so what kind of optic would you guys recommend..? budget $500-$600, has to be at least x9 zoom.. Please feel free to show off pics of your set up..

A Leupold 3-9 VX-II is one hell of a good scope for the money. It comes with a lifetime guarantee too.

I'm with Throttlemonkey on this one. It's what I use also.

I use an Aimpoint Comp ML3 red dot...I'm keeping it in CQB configuration...I've got other rifles (more accurate) that I can hunt with.

I put a 30mm Leupold 1.5x5 with the illuminated circledot reticle on mine and it makes for a great pig gun here in Texas. Next addition will be an AAC Cyclone suppressor just for s&g.

I had a 1-4x30 Counter Sniper Scope on it, found I needed more magnification & went with a Bushnell Elite 4200 3-9x40.

Cheers
Jay

Just a quick derail from the topic.. Is that a hogue grip on there? Does it fit snug? Which one...G17?

As for the optic, you can't beat the Elcan Spectre DR.. I have the 1.5-6X on my RFB, and it's great for hunting...you can scan wide areas at 1.5X then quickly change over to 6X to take the shot, and your good out to about 400M...

It's a Hogue Handall Full Sized Grip Sleeve Model #17000. Fits the Glock and a large number of other frames. It's not super tight, but tight enough. I've had it on a couple of guns already and it's probably stretched a bit.

Burris Fullfield II 3-9x, 95% light transmission (awesome glass), $240ish mounted with a Burris AR P.E.P.R quick release mount with the levers mounted backward. Epoxy7 and I both have this set up and it's quite nice.

thanks guys for all the ideas... i think i'll start with Burris Fullfield II with a P.E.P.R mount... i'll post pics once its complete.

Somebody needs to line up a FS2000 for comparison

Here's part of the family...

The FS2K is the longest at a whopping...30 1/2" oal. The two shortest are the PS90 and the RFB at 26 3/8" and 27" respectively. Tavor is just a bit smaller than the FS2K at 29 1/4". Comes down to muzzle brakes... the longer ones have em, the shorter ones don't... Also noted, these are all NR... :) and the only one yet to go hunting is the RFB, but that's going to change this fall!
