**MINT Rem 760 Carbine .308** Whats it worth?

Without pictures of the wood and the style of checkering it is harder to put a value on it.... the old 'pressed checkering' is definitely worth less than the newer checkering.

Put it on the exchange forum with good pictures at $700 and take offers for a week... that is how you will find the value.

Now there is a business man talking! Good advice, Dennis (as always of course!)

Bought this cheap a few years back.
They are a good value rifle in my opinion. If i recall, I think i paid 450.00 here on gunnutz
for this one. It's an honest 90%

I'd love to have that 760-C in 308
I'd pay $500 for it but at $600 I'd be still watching for one :)
You guys sitting here on GunNutz gotta consider you have to deduct the shipping from the value! It no good a thousand miles away!
At a gun show you make your deal & carry it away.

This is my 30-06, The other one is as new in .308 I think my son has his name on that one.
I'm more into bolts and levers.
Thanks for all the replies guys!

Jordy, he is talking about a MINTY CARBINE. That last 760 was neither of those. :p But if you have a MINTY CARBINE for sale at that price, I call first dibs!!!! :D

Most of the Carbines I see are chambered in 30-06, rarely 308. I do find that the Remington pumps are more prone to bent barrels when the owner falls, but maybe that's because we have a lot of this style rifle here. The "issue" that had been mentioned regarding the 760 is not an issue for this rifle at all, it is the 740 and 742 autoloaders. I have yet to see a 760 with chatter marks in the receiver.
