Anybody own the detachable shotshell carrier? How does it work for you guys? Is it better than Mesa Tactical and TacStar sidesaddles?

I got one from BBB at a course we attended and love it (6-shell). I had one of those cheap neoprene sleeves on the stock that didn't last a day. I was a bit dubious about the velcro/elastic setup but this thing is thick and robust and doesn't shift at all. I have no experience with the Mesa or TacStar offerings, but it's certainly better than the hard plastic stock sidesaddle on a Knoxx compstock. I'm no competition shooter (yet) so hopefully someone with more experience than I can offer will chime in.

I was asking about the OD green and light green too, as I have a bunch of foliage green magpul furniture on my gun.

I've never seen pictures of the light green to compare, just the OD.

Also: one shot tactical seems to not carry these anymore? I couldn't find them on their site, depsite several searches

I mount the velcro on LH side of the reciever & another velcro RH side of the stock, i can swap or refill as i want. Great product, like all the others ive tested from S&J hardware! You must try the oversized 870 safety as well!

Too the people that posted that its a poor product, please contact our office monday for a complete refund including shipping.
As we have sold close to 500 of the various models of DSC since the start of the year with only one return,we are very interested to hear any and all feed back.
Our intent with the product was to provide. A cost effective multi use shot shell holder made from mil spec webbing and made in canada.
FYI the loops are sized for 20ga so they are nice and tight for 12ga

I know, I'll probably end up buying direct from SJ and get a shotshell caddy too. I just know there's a bunch of other tac junk I'd pickup from One Shot and save the shipping

we do ask if possable you buy from your dealer, as for the shot shell caddy aka the 4X4, they shipped out to us today so should be ready some time next week.
A bunch of dealers are signed up to take stock of these, but they will do fast, so ask your dealer about pre order.

FYI the 4x4 sits out 70mm from the belt so no issues using them for IPSC.
I,m sure someone can quote the rule from the ipsc book.

I have one and like the look/style...it holds 4 shells...but after firing between 4-8 rounds out of my Wingmaster they all fall out...doesn't matter the brand of shells, if I put them brass up or down...they fall out :(. I am thinking mine might have been sewed outta spec?
