What powder do you use to make major in 40 S&W

I've used Win 231 since I started reloading .40 for my Para for IPSC Standard Div. It meters well and goes a long way.

I realized there are too many powder choices. I wanted to add longshot to the list. I am sure there are lots more. I probably missed some really popular ones. Oh well let's see how it goes.

I've found 231 to be really dirty, as in leave alot of black dirt (shyt) in the gun, Titegroup seems to give about the same performance and burns cleaner, IMHO.

Sorry,, can't help with poll. I hve never loaded for major in 40cal.. But I do like titegroup, hs6 and unique for my loads.

I like the fact that it can be used for 12 gauge too.

Now I know why I always have trouble finding titegroup. Looks to be the most popular by far. What powders are people using in the Other category ?
