this is what i use
I removed the pistol holster and replaced with the extra 2 mag, because it comes with it and its an easy Velcro change out.
80 bucks and worth the price, 6 mag spots (with the pistol holster changed out)
I built my own using a HSGI Taco mag pouches (available at a few of the dealers above: OSTS and DS Tactical). These mag pouches are awesome, they hold any type of mag in securely. These mag pouches also allow your chest rig to be flexible if ever you acquire any other firearms that use different kinds of mags.

I have one of these in Desert Tan, works good for both my 858 mags, AR mags, M305 (M14) mags AND my Grizzly shotgun mags! It's a great 3 gun vest.
I also take the holster off and replace it with the extra 2 mag holder.
If you want the quality gear, go with a molle rig and HSGI Taco pouches. The tacos kick ass. I have a bunch of TT .308s that I modded to hold VZ mags and they work well, but if I had the case I would replace them all with tacos.

^^I agree, I run tacos on a belt and they kick ass for holding mags of both the AR and VZ58 .
I've been looking at the BFG Ten Speed Chest Rig lately, I wonder if it is elastic enough to hold VZ58 mags?

I don't know, but I doubt it. I bet Farmboy would know, though.
I've got a TT rig with HSGI 3-mag pouches. I've also used a Denali. The pouches are big enough to hold 2 CZ mags. You're better off using both the velcro and the buckles. When using the CZ mags you can't really get enough real estate on the velcro for it to be 100% secure, but if you use buckles only, the flap on the pouch has a tendancy to slide off, leaving your mags unsecured. I might invest in a couple of AK pouches from TT and just swap out when I got shooting.
It'll hold them, but I'd advise against it.
The Ten Speed was a mission specific rig designed for certain clients. It was never intended as a long term rig.
Using it with VZ/CZ mags or similar mags will limit it's life much faster than smooth mags.

What he said. There wasn't much in terms of fast, accessible, durable mag pouches for the AK/VZ/FAL/AR-10/M14 (big fat mags) until the Taco rolled around. Especially not the VZ. HSGI's Taco is just sick. I run three on a war belt and couldn't be happier.
For all my set ups, I like to put my own together. I find a good MOLLE rig and add shingles or pouches that I like. I can then arrange everything where I like and places that feel natural. It may not look the coolest, but the modular route is the way to go.
with saskcop.The MOLLE option is truley the only route as each person is defferent. So this is the only way to get what you need were you need it. On a side note the Magpul 7.62 Nato mag tac pulls work great on VZ58 mag's.
