July 10th Alliston Match... Great match... Video!

Lol...thats why we aren't using it, no one signs up on spec if its a call in, but when it's just a couple of clicks....

We got it that you don't want to use online registration. But why don't you use ipsc-matches.net to manage match? At least everyone will see their squads and times, round count, number of stages, match cost and other stuff which is not currently published anywhere. All it takes, at the time of registration MD will add competitors to the match.

When you run a match you can show us all how it should be done. It's kind of like " you no play ah the game, you make ah the rules" sort of thing, eh?

Hmmm, well when they call to sign up they can find out all those things. We manage the match ourselves, all ipsc-matches.net does is publish the match management, it doesn't manage the match.

The problem is that we can find out and then immediately forget. Like I said, there is no place to check it again and the phone won't work after registration.

Last Sharon match was kind of a mess. Number of people didn't know what squad they're shooting when they got to the range.

Wow Guys! I have to admit your stage setup is getting better and better each time. A good challenging match that I took for granted from your past matches and this time I forgot to do my stretched before the start of th match.

Thanks again to the cook(s) and match crew for host a great match and thank to Scot for cleaning out my wallet... again!

Till next time... DVC!

Thanks Ron for the coverage...great job on your vids..just keep doing what your doing heck its your video..never mind others "TASTE" :p:p:p

Lol...MrCleans phone worked right up until (and as far as I know, since) the match, pretty sure he didn't block numbers after registration....maybe yours....
You could always write it down after you sign up...since everyone showed up on time for their squads, I'll assume they all got by OK

Should I remind the practical aspect of the competition? Unlike the video, have you seen 6 bad guys hanging out of the tree like grapes, conveniently for one shotgun round for all of them? They'll be more likely well spread in the woods...

Like I said, not everyone did. First squad at the morning had double number of competitors, so they had to wait. And then wait again when RO's went for lunch...

Shot this match and as per my squad which was the 1st squad it was smooth and easy...so is the 2nd/3rd squad(buddies shooting) so dont know where the "Mess" is coming from.

And for those w no blackberry bbms and smartphones this is good.
Beside love hearing mr cleans voice haha

First squad had the right number, second squad showed up early...which is a good idea...everyone shot in their proper time slot. There was some confusion because everyone started on the same range, which was according to plan, then moved to the second when finished.
This time Sunday will not have a lunch break since it's only a half day.
Everything ran pretty much on time, no more than half an hour behind all weekend (we started a bit late on Saturday)

Yeah not sure about that, this is the first I have heard of any "mess" that day. The only person that complained in the whole match was euxx and we expected that...lol

Pat, I was there and in my recollection it was well over an hour. Nor I think it is a good idea to have to show up for the time of the previous squad. Something you can improve for the next time with better communication. That is all.

Generally people choose to see what they like to see or hear. Most of the people don't bother to complain or don't like to complain straight to the face. But some do complain behind your back. If competitor's extended wait wasn't enough for a mess, you should recall that some of the match workers didn't get to shoot the match because of those delays, for example, Marty.

No one HAS to show up early, show up whenever you want.
As I said, call in, we'll give you all the info you want and if you suffer from CRS, write it down at that time....

Considering how small Alliston is with one bay and 5 very well thought out stages ..my vote goes to them. And the level of friendlyness in Alliston cant be beat.:D

Cant wait till you run a match Eugene..

In fairness, euxx has run a match and did fairly well for his first attempt, though I think he learned quite a bit from the experience.

It is not worth it to argue with someone who is so hypocritical like euxx.
He shoots most of the time in Wenforth, which is indoor range and has limited capacity to manage the stages, pretty much same as Alliston.
Only creativity of stage designers make it interesting. I like going to Wenforth, but I also enjoy shooting in Beeton, where I am a member of the club and where I can practice as much as I bring ammo. I wonder if euxx can do same in Wenforth or Burlington?? All he does is complain, and this is not funny. Yes, there is always something what could be better, but if we do not like certain matches we should not go there and not complain/criticize it.
