I was at the Toronto sportsman show yesterday, and was talking to the guys at the Remington booth. They mentioned that now the 870 has a "trio" option which adds a turkey barrel to the "combo" which still has the 22"FRB, and the 28" vented barrel.

I checked at LeBarons, and they have an in store special for it. I was wondering if anyone knows of any other stores that are carrying the trio combo. As I do not like dealing with Lebarons. I would rather deal with a sponsoring company.

Cheers

I know Al Simmons has them. That's where I got mine. They are not a sponsor as far as I know. I like mine but make sure you keep it well oiled, they are rust magnets.

Epps has some for sure, don't know if the matt finish is camo or black however.

last time i checked epps had the combo with the rifle sights on the barrel, the lebaron trio comes with the cantilevered barrel...if it matters to you. i was going to get the trio, but it didnt qualify for the no-tax sale and i dont need the turkey barrel so i just bought an express (no tax) and will get the cantilever barrel later.

I just got mine from Le Barons on Friday. The slug barrel and the turkey barrel work fine but the Vent ribbed one will not allow me to extract the cheep (Canadian Tire) winchester shells, they stick so bad when u use force (grab the for-end and slam the butt on the ground) it extractor rips clean through the rim of the shell. I am VERY UNHAPPY!

Google that problem...

You need to polish the chamber, or switch to better quality shells.

I polished my chamber and never had a problem since, although now I just buy bulk cases of Winchester AA shells.

Oh Google it I did, and polished I did. The chamber is to tight. I polished it twice, once with just a bore brush in a drill, the second with some SEEK metal polish on a bore mop in a drill. The first time helped some, but after 15 rounds there was enough dirt to cause the same issue the second polishing did a little better but it's still not good enough and the chamber looks like a mirror. I guess my frustration comes from the fact that I bought an 870 express because they are suppose to handle anything and keep right on worken.

Had the same problem with my super mag every 3rd or 4th round wouldn't eject and I ended up ripping the shell apart just as you are saying, I polished one part of the chamber with some fine steel wool and made sure I pumped that sucker hard everytime I took it out, now I have like 400-500 rounds through it and it will eject anything, works now like it should have worked when I bought it.
