Free Float Rail Forearm

After 10 scary minutes with a dremel tool it was installed and and fired at the range.Very, very happy with the result - auestheticaly and functionality wise.

Its not a "Free Float Rail" if it is attached to the forward handguard retainer. It is a rail, but not a free float one. Looks very nice though. What did you need to Dremel?

I leave the retainer on when I can as well, keeps the gravel out.

Is that optic bridging the upper and the rail? I am not a big fan of doing that. I would move it back a few slots.

Not a problem if they are within the same specs.....If the Iron sights co-witness with the optic.....not a problem.
