Scope mount brands for flat top AR-15/Swiss Arms

I need to mount optics on a flat top AR-15 and my Swiss Arms (with a rail on top).

I can't find any Larue dealers so I am looking at either American Defense or Vortex mounts because local dealers stock them both. Both mounts are over the $200 range so I can only assume they are both well built.

Any input on this decision would be appreciated.

I don't want this to turn into a pissing match, I'm just looking for solid input.

The Vortex mounts are made by ADM for Vortex. No pissing match needed . I run the Vortex (ADM) on mine and love it. I've had it off and on the upper multiple times and it maintains zero.

Vortex makes a 2 inch offset and 3 inch offset mount. I use the 3" and its excellent make

I bought Bauer AR15 rings and they worked great on the flat top swiss rifle.
