CanAm NON-CORROSIVE 7.62x39.....

Ok tonight it started out at $599 per case, now it is down to $499. If the $599 was posted in error, I apologize for my griping.

Hopfully he will adj his price on the 9mm as well
At $670.88 tax's in delivered for 2000 rnds of Chinese made 9mm 124 gn FMJ ammo vs $694.95 tax's in delivered for 2000 rnds of US made American Eagle 9mm 124 gn FMJ I'll spend the extra $24.07 & support the US over Communist China

Of course if I was saving a hundred or so I would probably ignore my ideals & buy the cheap stuff ! LOL

If I have to pay the shipping anyway, I usually order out of BC to avoid the HST.

Saves you 7% automatically, which is always a good thing. You just ask the other retailer to price match if the cost is lower. On $500.00 that's like $35.00 more in my wallet. That's how I've been buying my MFS soft points. Other retailers have been glad to price match the lowest guy (usually in Ontario) and ship it to me sans HST.

They are breaking the law

So what are you suggesting, to just purchase surplus?

I'm suggesting surplus is cheap for the same reasons stuff at Liquidation World is cheap - you aren't paying for the what it cost to manufacture the product - someone else did and is now selling it at a loss.

As for purchasing? Sure, purchase surplus, purchase new stuff, purchase all of it. Who's ever had too much ammo, anyway?

What I'm curious about is why the 7.62mm rounds (both x39 and x51) are steel cased while the 9mm and 5.56 are brass.

I don't really have a horse in this one, but I have been around long enough to have used both the Czech ammo and the Norinco stuff. Quite apart from the corrosive/non-corrosive difference, if I was putting ammo away for a 'rainy day' I would be putting the Norinco away, the copper wash on the Norc stuff improves both feeding and long term reliability by a wide margin. Also the Norinco stuff is quite accurate, at least on a par with the Czech stuff.

HMMMMM here is a thought .... with ammo for the 7.62x39 trending upwards fairly quickly , and most of it with nonreloadable cases i can see sks rifles coming way down in price .

it is a shame no one is bringing in 7.62x39 in reloadable cases in bulk .

Reloadable in bulk? Highly unlikely. There is just no one out there making such stuff.

I did once in buffalo with some longrange reloading stuff. When I went back I told customer office what I brought. They freaked out and searched my car!

From then on everytime I came back, the customer always stops me and check me out.

They must have put me on their black list now.

So if there's a profit to be made at $399 but originally it was $599, retailers can reduce their prices 35% and still make money?

I should look into starting a firearms business!
