I got 500 rounds of american eagle for $299 plus a 10% discount from reliable gun last week. Best prices I've seen in awhile for local retailers.

Sure it could be reloaded if boxer primed, you could even reload berdan primed steel cases.

Berdan primers are a tad difficult to source, and a bit tricky to work with, but completely reloadable. The actual steel casings might be harder to deal with because they're not brass, and you're running them through dies. The big problem here is rust, and I'd stay away from lacquer coated cases simply because I don't want that crap in my dies nor do I want my ammunition turning brittle a couple months after assembling. I'd go with nickel plated or copper washed boxer primed cases, but good luck finding them, it all seems to be berdan.

Gobles just sold me 500 rounds of Federal 308 150grn FMJ at $15/20. Appearently they are feeling the pressure of the cheap MFS.

some comment on their accuracy? that would be extremely helpful!

If you are refering to the Federal, no idea. I fired off only 18 today through my Rem 700, too damn hot to shoot today. Hit balloons at 200, though my misses was likely the profuse sweating from the heat.

I'll be using it mostly for my M14 in the next ORA CQB in Aug. Then in sept will be using it in my Rem 700 in the precision shoot in Sept (up to 800).
