Nork 223 from CanAm

Anyone used Nork 223 ammo before? How is the quality?

Is it the yellow box stuff, worked great for me but a lot of flash

If that is the same as the yellow box stuff, it was fairly hot and was as accurate as any ball ammo I had tried. I remember buying it for about $5-6 a box a number of years ago.

but 800 for 1600 rounds thats not a good price when you can get the american eagle tactical for 400 for a 1000

Ours are marked CJ 9

They are paper wrapped, not in yellow boxes. Same stuff

CJ 92 stamp, yellow box, I've shoot a couple of cases off. It works fine. I still have some. I think it was $320/1600rds back in the day.

I am also still reloading some Norinco brass .223 cases from 15 years ago. They seem to do well for reloads.

I just ordered a case for delivery when I get home from this deployment (Canam, see your e-mails!) and will let y'all know how it works when I get home....

I anticipate it being equivalent to pretty much the standard .223 55 grain ammo that I had from Norinco many years ago...(yellow box) that was good practice ammo at 1-200 meters.

Is it truly non-corrosive? I know of someone who claims to have buggered a mini 14 barrel by shooting corrosive norc ammo that was marked non-corrosive
