Round exploded in chamber

Hello guys i just bought brand new mossberg tactical from cabelas . Took it to the range on saturday . Fired about 300 rounds . I have a 25 round mag with it . So the gun was doin a gud job until i heard a big bang and i looked in the chamber that a round still in the mag exploded. The round was still in the mag and the bullet was stuck in the barrel which i extracted later.its was the last round in the mag. The top part of the mag is little uneven i guess coz of the explosion. And it wont feed with that mag but i tried the othe mag and it was feeding fine.....so as i am new to this shooting game my question is would it be safe to shoot the gun or do i have to talk to cabelas people. Thanks

I'd get it inspected by a gunsmith at the very least.
 
If u guys knownhow the mag goes in chamber in mossberg tactical...........so the shell was still in the mag and was shreded and the lead was stuck in the barrel....

one more time for the people in the back?
so you fired, had a big bang, found a bore obstruction, and a last round still seated in the mag which was exploded?

sounds to me like you had blow out, and it directed down through the mag.

get the thing checked out by a gunsmith.
