Double Defense issue, any idea's?

So, I have a Double Defense which I just love to shoot. Only problem is that it is starting to randomly let both barrels fly at the same time. I've only put maybe 40 rnds through it personally, but it was a factory demo gun. I purchased it directly from Stoeger. Does anybody have any advice before I take it back for warranty?

Truth be told, I kind of enjoy the big bang when both barrels go, but I don't like the fact that it can't be controlled.
 
Stick a 3" slug or a 15 pellet 00 load in each barrel and let fly . . . the gun will bother you no more after that. It will sit in the back of your safe never to see daylight again, be sold off, or run through a band saw.

Other than that I think its time the warranty folks had a go at it.

It has become a WMD.

You're gonna need a different class of PAL now....and prolly different storage criteria.....and an ATT.....but you'll prolly be able to buy and sell amongst other WMD class holders.......oh is the barrel between 318mm and 623.3337mm? if so then it may fall into simply the extra lethal class and not a full WMD?.....oh but it is a break action, wheh!..... good thing cause if were a semi then it would move to "ludicrouslyharmfulextraspeciallyhazardouscontrolled" status which would require an annual stamp on your WMD PAL card and you to submit to an anal probe and sodium pentathol annual test.

Seriously, I just got off the phone with the CFC...that's wut she said......lol

The lazier route would be to have Stoeger correct the stellar workmanship issues on the lockwork.
