After 13 Yrs I finally got a tag.Looks like I'm going moose hunting in Algonguin Park this yr.Tag is for WMU 54 camp C-12.

Lets go huntin' !!!!!!!

We, our group of two, got our tag. Don't know if its a cow or a bull and don't know that it really matters.

First moose hunt for both us. We keep telling each other that we know what to do but secretly we both know we're lying.

I think there will be a few questioned asked as we go forward with our planning.

Oh, the tag is for 01C, a half a country away from where we are in St. Thomas.
 
Congrats you must be excited? We have been hunting in area 50 for 6 years now we stay at an outfitters and get a Bull tag every year,I think its easier to win the 6-49 than get a tag in some areas

Is it possible that is all they applied for? I don't know who the system works as we have one guy that does the application. Can you ask to be considered for only a bull or cow?

Thats what we applied 1st choice for. So im assuming thats we got. Could be a cow I suppose, but im working on the assumption its a bull as of now. We have no guaranteed bull tags in 49, but we are certainly in the top of the heap of the "large group allocation" range, so we almost always get our 1st choice.
