Can anyone tell me how to remove a Cooey barrel ? I have a side mount, and a receiver that has been drilled for it. Problem is, the drilled receiver has a long barrel and I want to put the drilled receiver on a 16" barrel that I have.

Single shot or repeater?
Repeater barrel is secured by crosspinning.
Single shot barrel by the stud threaded into the bottom.
In both cases, the barrel is likely pressed in pretty tight.
I assume you are prepared to fit the replacement barrel - these do not exactly interchange.
And if you are installing an original Cooey barrel that has been cut to 16", you are likely manufacturing a prohibited firearm.
