We got a cow and a bull tag in 18B (muzzleloader season) for 8 hunters.

Also have a cow tag in 18b. Any outfitters you can recommend in that wmu?

I don't - never been there before my self. Going with some buddies who shot a bull there last year. We will be setting up a makeshift camp back on some bush road somewhere.

I have a hunt cabin south of Hearst(closer to Oba)Excellant area for moose,especially water hunting.Seen a dozen or so this summer so far and all the cows had calves,good sign.Good luck on your hunt.

I got a bull in 03.

It is kind of excruciating though, I don't really have a gun for it. My 6.5 swede seemed fine for calves, but all of a sudden I feel a little undergunned.

The wife has authorized a purchase at my discretion and I have spent all night looking at everything from Savage to Sako. I told myself that it would be a CZ in 300WM if I got a bull, but the tag showed up and a Sako A7 in .30-06 is whispering my name all of a sudden.

I should have bought the gun before the fever kicked in....

Both me and the Mrs. got bull tags for WMU 3. Now to choose BLR .308 or enfield n4 mark1 .303. I'll probably go with the .308 because it's just in need of a scope (in the mail should be here in a week)

The Mrs. party hunts with her family with her xbolt medallion 270WSM.
