great video.... My old 22 LR isn't really a tack driver...this video makes me wish for a 17hmr or 22wmr since to make a 22lr shoot accurately, you seem to need to spend 12$/50 box anyhow. Might as well get the good stuff 17hmr/22wmr with extra range/power/flat trajectory?

Did anyone notice that the first shot, the sow's eyeballs both dislocated?

seems to me rimfire lacks a lot of respect, either that or a lot of people misuse rimfire, without appreciating their limitations.

I'm really impressed with the accuracy and 0-100 yard trajectory of 17hmr. Groups like a well made made centre fire, and shoots just as flat at that range. So much flatter shooting than 22LR.

Sold my 17HMR to a buddy as his first gun, way accurate (100 yards it would do quarter sized groups all day long) and an underestimated round IMHO (just expensive compared to 22LR).

I see what your saying, but accurate match 22lr ammo is commonly 12$/pack 50. So really the magnum rim fire choices seem much better.

As far as I'm concerned the .22 is better than .22 mag etc because for me personally the majority of my .22 shooting is for plinking at paper and you just can't beat the price. My savage will shoot 1 to 1.5 MOA all day long and I know it can shoot better than I can... Now if I really need the accuracy I can chose to spend 12 bucks for a box of 50 and be shooting just as good as the .17 hmr etc. I like how I have that option.

Just my .02.

BTW great video!
