How about two S&L's
and three Husqvarna's?Close as I can come to FN.
Question, when Weatherby started out, I'm lead to believe S&L made actions for him.
He bought from S+L, as well as from FN, but I don't recall the actions being made specifically for him. - dan

As I understand, Roy started out using Mausers and began working on a joint venture with S&L, and had S&L start building some for him at the same time. There is an overlap where your Weatherby could have been a S&L or a Mauser (FN) at the time. Some of the reading I have done conjures that it was S&L that did the majority of the foot work and development with Norma for Roy, but the fact that both companies works together on S&L's own projects and they are both Scandinavian is the only basis Incan see for that.
Frankly, I think Weatherby would be twice the company and contender it is today if they had continued with S&L and not dealt with Sauer, but that is an opinion.

S&L has always been a bolt action favorite of mine and there's one more I'm looking for. My one criticism is the complexity of their bolt. I'd categorize it as the "Rubik's Cube" of bolts when it comes to stripping and cleaning.

A happy 14 year old with his first (only) moose.
Congrats to him and good on you both. That look on his face is what makes it all worthwhile.
