Not sure to post this in main battle rifles but i figure the 308 crowed would know what it is worth. I just recently "dug up" as far as I can estimate 1400 rounds of factory 308/7.62nato in green military boxes. I did a round count in one box and counted 310. Two boxes are full of rounds stamped DA 60, another box has another 300 rounds stamped HF, one box full of WCC and of course the mixed box of WCC, IVI and HF. Also i found about 20 pounds of 147 and 150 grain FMJ projectiles and 200 pulled tracers. I’m just about to put money down on a Swiss PE90. If I was to sell the lot what could I sell it for and if the opportunity arrived how many rounds of 223/5.56 could i trade it for?

please stay tuned for photo

thankyou
Adrien

Worthless, but I will pay shipping if you want me to dispose of it for you :p.

I would expect somewhere in the range of .45-.75 cents a round depending on corrosive or non-corrosive priming, reload-ability, and the quality of the lots of ammo in question. Someone with more knowledge should be able to narrow that down for you.

I find Berdan primed Nato rounds from 0.75 to 0.85 each at gun shows if that helps.

I've been buying various brands of factory .308 FMJ 145/147/150gr, boxer primed in what seems like good brass for $152.55 inc. HST per 200 rounds, or $0.76 per round.

I live in Victoria and would be interested in a piece of that action. The point of digging up was concerning, however, if you are up to it, I would have a look and possible deal (as I am sure a bunch of others will jump on) if the ammo is minty fresh and the price is right!
