Son & I each got one for 57 zone.
I expect the doe tags to be lower again this year but don't really care, most of the seniors at our camp put themselves on a buck or fawn only law. We do our own deer population management.

Thanks. Called and did not get it for 57! First time it happened. With 2000 deer tags issued for 57 every year, I always thought it is pretty much automatic. Oh well...

2000 tags, with 4500 applications...I used to apply for 57, but with 2 years in a row with no doe tag, I switched to a bow only zone closer to home.

According to the 2010 Hunting Regs I have in my hand.
Quota was 2000 tags & 3,109 pool one applications.
For a 1st choice % chance of 64%

That's what the surplus tags are for (if you can get them in your wmu).

All the additional tags around here are 'antlerless only'. Not that I have a problem with that - the tag tastes the same either way
