Tokarev SVT-40 acting funny, NEED HELP

I've been reading on multiple sites about this issue.

CCI #34 primers are much harder, but they are also magnum primers, and change pressures accordingly. So a new load needs to be worked up for using them.

But you need harder primers, there is no doubt.

People have had worn Garands blow up in their faces, this happens on many different military rifles.

The Plumber's Putty test cinches it for me. Hard primers or don't fire the rifle.

For your garand, please use #34 CCI primers, these are the ones designed for the semi-auto rifles. I had a slamfire with a SVT-40 using regular primers and since then if there is a chance for a slamfire. I use #34's
And that's in my FAL's CETME, M1A, Ljungman, and hakin.
