This is the new member of the family, my keltec PLR-22. So far this is an amazing little gun, its light and made very well. I added a the compact forearm, spikes verticle grip, spikes fake can, black dog machine 50 round rifle magazing, and im still waiting for the ncstar red dot sight. its very easy to take apart and clean, I just wish we were able to get our hands on the PLR-16

sorry about the bad pictures and anything but a photographer and the only camera I own is my cell phone

HAHA sorry about that! I'm also waiting for it to arrive in Canada as wel, i'll even be more excited about that, then the PLR 22 when it arrives

Few questions:
How well does it shoot?
Also- if its a restricted handgun- wouldn't the magazine have to be limited to 10?
Thinking of maybe getting this as my first "handgun"- would you reccommend it?

Looks Nice!
Just curious?? What's the OAL of it?? (less the can)

18.5" according to Vault's website.

The mag is for rifles, so has no limit on capacity.

Man, i am trying to hold out for the SU22 but dont know if I will be able to after these pics

Depends if you want non-restricted or not. I would love an SU-22 with the 10" PLR barrel and pistol grip with telescoping stock. It would make for one very sweet non-restricted rimfire SMG.

I have a review here:

It is restricted...classified as a pistol...but there is a loop hole here with the mag...it's the same .22lr Blackdog 25 rounds mag that is made for all the AR .22lr conversion kits.

It shoots amazing with the Bushnell TRS-25...and just as nice with the factory irons.

I was getting hole on hole at about 22 meters.

As a pistol...that's probably not a good first purchase because it doesn't resemble a typical pistol.

I recommend a typical handgun for proper grip and trigger training.

With the PLR-22, I tend to treat it like a CQB type rifle with the foregrip attachment.

Good luck

Anyone know if there's a site sponsor that carries stock/aftermarket parts for the PLR22? Ii'm looking to price some 22LR AR mags and the fore-end for this firearm.

Questar carries the Black Dog mags. Rimfire Sports also has them, but they are not a sponsor. I have had great service from both.
