Hi every one,

just to let you all know to be very carefull with this company. 2 friends of mine sent their money and never had a call back ! After tons of mails and voice mail, still no answer !

We are all working hard for our money, just don't want the same thing happen to someone else.

regards

I've been having some trouble with a gunsmith in my area. If and when I "out" him I'll have given him plenty of time to sort it out. I will understand the obsticals in the way of him correcting the problem if there are any. I will be polite but firm. I will deal only with him untill I've exhausted all other avenues. Finally I will post about any alleged misdeeds myself.

lol yes it's a very nice first post hehe

i'm sure the guy did good in the past but take my word, even if you don't know me, everything been tried and at the point where justice is taking the lead.

He is folding up his business partly because he is tired of dealing with pushy, impatient people. I am just guessing but I bet there is a reason he didn't get back to you.

He made a thread about this a couple weeks or so ago.

This is news...

There have been posts about difficulties in getting in touch with Ian at Adams Lake Rifle Barrels in other threads. But M14Doctor recently received a long awaited barrel and has posted that Ian is dealing with some more pressing concerns.

I don't know how long your friends have been waiting and its tough to wait if you already paid, but like others have said - Ian has a good reputation.

[Sarcasm]I have never dealt with with Ian but come to think about it I did give another board sponsor $1000 bucks the end of February and have still not received my Product. I was even stupid enough to send him one of my firearms and also gave him the final payment Friday. Should I phone the cops too?[/Sarcasm]

My point is the only thing in the gun world that is quick is a fired bullet. Barrels don't just show up overnight delivery.

This must be a first.
A whinethread started not by a principal in the situation, but by a proxy netwhiner acting on behalf of unnamed friends.
The absence of any meaningful information is remarkable.
Given that these are the OP's posts one and two, is there any basis whatsoever for any credibility?
Let's see..... User CP; ignore function, edit ignore list.....

X2....Ordered two barrels from Ian, separate times, received two barrels.

And he was also very helpful with my first build.

Another thing, it is not getting any easier to get barrels, gunparts, reloading components etc. from the USA,

We should be thankful there are people willing to do it, and I don't think they are getting rich doing it.
