Picking a scope on a budget is so hard. Input?

Scopes

Best scope for the money Zeiss Conquest ......Leupold has had it day in the sun. In my opinion their are far better options than Leupold for the money:mad:

I hear some good stories about the new Minox German made scopes.....

Good luck:)

Redfield 4-12X.

Best out there. Around $300. Crazy clear glass, amazing quality and durability.

Have one on my M14 and it's flawless. I have looked through MANY scopes and this Redfield beats them all, many costing 5X as much.

You'd be silly not to at least go look at them ;)

I second that!

I am really liking my new Vortex Viper HS 4-16X50mm with the BDC reticle. Constant 4" eye relief with really clear glass, an excellent reticle, and an awesome warranty. All for under $600! This is a 30mm scope so there is lots of internal adjustment too.

Just another option for you.

Well, ended up with a conquest 4.5 - 14 x 44 with mil dot

Appreciate all of the suggestions. Range report to follow sometime soon as time permits.

Just curious, but does the entire line of Zeiss Conquest scopes come with plastic turret caps? I have a 3-9x40 and this is the only fault I can find with it. Awesome scope otherwise.

If your looking at Leupold, try the vx-r.I think the glass is better than the vx3.A 4x12x40 with the 30mm tube is 680.00 to your mailbox. They are very compact, with good eye relief..
