Not any more if it was ever the case to begin with. That thread was from 2002 when Slick Willy's Assault Weapon Ban was still in place. Things like pistol grip stocks and whatnot on post ban firearms was a no-no. The AWB expired in 2004 so they don't have to put up with that kind of crap any longer. (Except Kalifornia):p
